Good start! Youtube videos are an awesome resource. So you now know the chords or are still working on them? You should record yourself playing each week and then create a compilation video at the end to show how much you've progressed. That would be awesome!

I love teaching myself via Youtube. My former school district used moodle as their LMS and I taught myself how to use it by watching youtube videos. My hat is off to you. The guitar is difficult. I played the bass guitar until I broke my hand, the bone healed funny and my reach is gone. I agree with Andrea, you should record yout progress so we can see it! Good Luck!

I will record myself at some point but I'm going to try to at least get the language down first, LOL! Sorry to hear about the hand, but what do you mean by the reach being gone?

Hi Jacob. I'm playing the Guitar as well for my 20% project! Cool! Gla you picked the Acoustic guitar. I think it's nicer ;) Let me know if you want a jam session :)

I love that song! I agree, you should record your progress and post - as embarrassing as that may be. Youtube is the best for guitar tutorials- my finance serenades me with new songs he learned on youtube all the time! Very cool.

You made the right choice by going to YouTube! I use it religiously for all aspects of my life, from teaching, fitness, tutorials, etc. So many people willing to share their knowledge and talents for free. Love it. Can't wait to see you progress through your project, great song choice!
