Well I reached the end of my postings on my 20time project and I have to say that I learned more about myself than the song itself. I'm not saying I am not proud of what I have been able to accomplish so far but I think this is just the beginning of my mastery of the guitar. At this point I feel I have many ways I can continue to learn how to play the guitar. One path that I will follow is to seek help from the music teacher at our school. I've seen first hand how my students are able to learn how to play instruments in his class so I know he can be a bog help in helping me master not only this song but many others I would like to learn. One thing I had to relearn is how to tune my guitar and I found this app that allowed me to do that really easy. Aside from this song I also learned that one of my biggest issues in learning anything or doing anything is my commitment to the project. I know I can come up with great ideas and big projects but when it comes down to working on those projects that is where I fail to follow through. I have been seeing some of the book reviews by my fellow teachers and I think a book I should read is Drive, it seems this can be the key to keeping me motivate throughout a project. Overall my experience with the 20time project was a positive one, so much that I pitched the idea to the principal of the middle school and we will implement a version of 20time projects for the middle school students this year!!!!
